Assassins
Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm 2/10 - 2/25
$20 General Admission |
RagTag Entertainment is pleased to present Stephen Sondheim’s ASSASSINS.
“Bold, original, surreal, disturbing, thought-provoking and alarmingly funny, ASSASSINS is perhaps the most controversial musical ever written.
This most American of musicals lays bare the lives of nine individuals who assassinated or tried to assassinate the President of the United States, in a one-act historical "revusical" that explores the dark side of the American experience. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman bend the rules of time and space, taking us on a nightmarish rollercoaster ride in which assassins and would-be assassins from different historical periods meet, interact and in an intense final scene inspire each other to harrowing acts in the name of the American Dream.”

Christ Alive!
4/12 - 4/29 Thursdays - Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 5pm
$20 General Admission, $15 Las Vegas Locals General Admission |
From the mind that brought Las Vegas DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG LIVE and EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL comes this gospel of a different color!
Meet Simon "Rocky" Peter and his band of failed Messiahs - er, make that 'apostles' - as they try to turn wide-eyed wonderkid Jesus into a star on the messiah circuit.
Irreverent, satirical, and borderline blasphemous, this comedy examines what tradition and dogma has declared Jesus must be, regardless of what he himself may have taught.

The Texas Chainsaw Musical!
10/11 - 10/28
Thursdays - Saturdays at 8pm,
Sundays at 5pm
VIP Splatter Zone: $30
General Admission: $20 |
A coming of age story about a handsome serial killer, his overly affectionate momma, the woman he loves, and the pantywaist runt that ruins everything.
THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MUSICAL! is a musical comedy spoof of slasher horror films. Its soundtrack consists of darkly humored rock anthems and catchy ballads.
Young Eddy Gee is a demented kid. Chasing girls with chainsaws, torturing pets, victimizing his teachers - and as Eddy gets older, his acts get more brazen and more twisted. This is the story that Eddy's dead mother has returned from the grave to warn us about.
With the help of his twisted girlfriend, Lucretia, he takes his victims wherever he can get them. It is in this manner that he meets Kristy, a young girl running from her past, who makes the unfortunate choice of Texas as her new start.
Steven, a panty-waist runt and Kristy's would be boyfriend, chases her to Texas to profess his love to her.
Once Eddy meets Kristy, his thoughts turn from murder to love. When Lucretia learns of Eddy's betrayal, she decides it's up to her to properly dispatch of Kristy.
Can Steven save Kristy or will his own dark thoughts get in the way of his need for love and acceptance? And what about Steven is catching Lurcetia's interest?
It's a race to see which will triumph first - Eddy, Lucretia or Steven; good or evil; sanity or madness. |

Monday Afternoon
Saturday February 4th at 8pm
Tickets $20 |
Monday Afternoon is a play that incorporates stand up comedy.
It is about two lazy roommates who aspire to produce the best stand up comedy show ever. Unfortunately, they are plagued with laziness and get sidetracked with things like who is better at Karate or who likes fat chicks more.
While they get sidetracked, the stand up comedians perform as if it is happening in their minds.
This wildly successful show that took San Diego by storm is now moving into Las Vegas, and The Onyx Theatre is proud to have it on the stage. For more information about the show, visit the Monday Afternoon website at: http://www.thegregsantos.com/Site/Monday_Afternoon.html. |
